You may have heard of bone broth and/or collagen peptide powders. A quality collagen supplement may help:
- Support bone and joint health
- Boost gut health
- Increase skin elasticity
- Strengthen hair and nails
- Boost immune function
Unfortunately a 2017 study found high levels of toxic metals in organic bone broth due to toxic metals in animal bones.
This of course means the bone broth powders and collagen powders on the market are also at risk of high levels of toxic metals.
In my search to find a collagen product that was 3rd party lab tested for toxic metals, formulated with types I & III, and uses hydrolyzed bovine collagen (broken down for easier digestion and assimilation), I found “Live Well” Collagen Peptides.

Thank you for everything you do. I used the CBD gold for severe pain throughout my body and I was thinking about adding collagen to help with pain. What are your thoughts on that?
I’m not sure collagen is something that will help with pain. I would consider my 21 day cleanse if you have not already completed that program.
It can have a huge impact on chronic pain through reducing inflammation and addressing acidosis that causes pain.
