I am all about finding the truth especially when there is confusion. And believe me there is a lot of confusion about cooking oils.
So I recently asked my niece Rachel Andorfer, scientist and founder of The Essential Girl, to put together a chart for me that showed which oils are best to cook with at different heats and for different lengths of time. She whipped it up over night and I was REALLY surprised at how misled we are!!
Avoid refined oils and vegetable oils. They are processed with chemicals, at high heat, and cause inflammation in the body whether you cook with them or not.
Drizzle healthy oils on your food after you cook it.
