What Is A Liver Flush?
The liver detoxifies the blood and produces bile. The bile is stored in the gallbladder, then released when you eat to digest your food, especially high fat foods. A poor diet high in processed foods and sugar causes bile to become thick and harden into tiny stones called gallbladder stones. These stones are stored in the liver, gallbladder, and bile ducts. They can block bile flow which can be dangerous and actually life threatening. A liver flush is designed to detoxify, flush and purge the liver of deposits, toxins, and stones naturally so you can keep your gallbladder.
.
Some of the essential functions of the liver include:
-
Processing nutrients absorbed by the intestines so they are more efficiently absorbed.
-
Regulating blood composition to balance protein, fat, and sugar.
-
Destroying old red blood cells
-
Producing essential chemicals to help blood clot properly.
-
Breaking down and metabolizing of alcohol and medications.
-
Producing essential proteins and cholesterol.
-
Removing toxins from the blood stream including bilirubin, ammonia, and others.
-
Storing of minerals, iron and Vitamin A.

Liver Cleansing Herbs
Most liver cleansing programs do not include liver flushing. Liver cleansing is typically taking herbal supplements that increase bile flow. This is ok however, if you have stones blocking your bile duct, this will do you little or no good. The toxins will be released from the liver, and back right back up into the liver. So it’s really important to clear the big stuff out of the say first, so the deeper toxins have a safer escape route.

Hi Cathetine
I juice lots , including carrots & find I’m bloated & don’t seem to absorb the carrot juice . It’s interesting that you mention about vitamin A being absorbed by the liver & I wonder if my liver is why I feel like this when I juice carrots .
I find that when I juice greens that I don’t have the same bloating .
Also, Is the liver cleanse using olive oil & Malic acid/ apple juice & Epsom salts regime . I’ am concerned that my liver can’t take that half a cup of olive oil . Can I do half the amount & get a result
I am quite unwell & so I’m concerned to not be gung-ho & suffer
Thankyou
it could be the sugar content in the carrot juice. Usually fats will upset the gallbladder and liver causing nausea or pain. I don’t recommend diving into a liver flush without either the help of a health care practitioner, or joining my detox program where I have it set up to be safe and part of a healthy plan. Stand alone liver flushing can be very dangerous.

How does liver flush work as someone with galls stones awaiting operation said to me that the hospital staff are against liver flush as the liver or the gall bladder cannot be flushed, because the fluid does not go straight to the liver or gall bladder, but rather from the stomach to the intestines
clinical medicine does not agree with liver flushing. The liver flush drink causes the liver/gallbladder to purge the stones into the intestines and out of the body through the colon. I’ve had numerous stories of people scheduled for surgery and cancel after doing liver flushes.
