When it comes to adrenal stress and adrenal fatigue, breakfast becomes even more important. When under stress most people grab for the coffee and quick on the go bagel or yogurt for breakfast, which is only going to make matters worse in the long run. I also recommend avoiding animal protein because they are clogging to the organs, and contribute to inflammation.

What you need while under stress is a breakfast that includes the following:

Hemp Seed Banana Smoothie Recipe


  • 10 oz unsweetened almond milk – any flavor (you can use water if you would like to make your smoothie more cleansing and detoxifying)

  • 3-4 tablespoons raw hemp seeds – plant based protein high in omega 3 essential fats necessary for healthy brain function.
